Hit the nail on the head with the good start. Too many times recently, it seems Blues were behind right off the hop which changes the way you play.

Hutton was good enough but that wasn't Jaques Plante back there. I saw a cross bar and a post and Joe Pavelski miss an open net that he should have been able to bury blind drunk.

But it was a game the boys needed.

I couldn't believe Pavelski didn't bury that. At first I thought maybe Parayko got his stick on it but Pavelski just missed

Yeah but they should never have had that 5 on 3. That was a bogus call on Petro. To hand out a full 2 minute 5 on 3, it better be something pretty blatant.

Two impressive, surprising and important wins for the Blues. I think Jake Allen has been their biggest problem. Is Carter Hutton the answer??!!

Glad for the back to back wins, especially on the road.

But Hutton is not the answer to anything. Two good games, nothing more.

Team, yes the team, has played really well in front of Hutton these past two nights. Keep it up boys!

Oh is that what the problem is? Cause two days ago you were in here saying it was Hitch, Yeo, and losing Backes/Brouwer.

Whats the matter, your hot takes not appreciated on JJ's thread?

Who is that guy that's been dressed as Patrick Berglund over the last 20 games or so?

Did the Blues trade for Conner McDavid and are keeping a secret?

What the heck?

Berglund playing like the player we all hoped he would be......

I'll take it, even if it is short term.

Can he stop in two weeks and save it for April, May and the first week of June?

Another strong defensive game and this time Hutton was really good. But I think if the players take away passing and shooting options it generally makes the goalies' jobs easier. Often on tose somewhat weak goals Allen gives up the coverage is terrible and he guesses wrong on if it is a shot or pass or gets stuck inbetween cheating one way or the other.

I saw why Pavelski missed tha goal and it was because Parayko was taking up a lot of the space on the empty net and Pavelski tried to shoot to te side of him to not get the shot blocked. So that wasn't so much a choke as great positioning and a player trying to be too fine.

The last few year he has become ever more physical. He has gotten nasty and realized his size. Great shot poor aim. But now he is making great tips.

He might be realizing his ability gain and remember he was snake bit for a while tha eroded his confidence. I think he just accepted how to play the game and the success he was having scoring or not and once he did that....of course the goals come.

Sell high on Berglund

I hope he keeps it up but he disappears too often in big games

Hutton has looked strong and hopefully watching has Jake seeing the game a bit better

I still have faith in Jake just weird the team plays better in front of Hutton

Need to keep it up
